Okay peeps, so here are some exerpts from our lesson plans:
Xuan Yi: HOW DO I TEACH MEMBERI HORMAT KEKIRI HORMAT?? it's so boring to use NDP all the time.
Jan: OH OH I KNOW! Smash a pie in their face.
Product: we told Xuan Yi to say, "Okay, so you're marching, and the president is standing on your left. Someone throws a pie at you from your right. What do you do? You want to look dignified and smart, right? SO, WHAT DO YOU DO? YOU HORMAT TO YOUR LEFT! pay respects to the president at the same time! Then right, to make sure no one else is throwing pie at you, you must hold it for 5 seconds before resuming your position.

Apparently, jan was presenting her ideas for lesson plan, teaching hentak. So this is how the idea goes:
"Okay, so you put grasshoppers all around you in a circle, and the cadets will be urged to step on them, so you can get them to practice hentaking!"
At this point, I am told that Xuan Yi turned around, and told her groupmates:
"she got that from oa."
THE VERDICT: according to them, the VI said not to use that idea as the poor grasshoppers never hurt anyone.
Of course, we have our own fair share of idiocy during camp too :D
